Workshop 1: Get Your Dream Job in Germany: The Application / 05/06/2025 16:00-20:00 pm

Are you eager to apply for your dream job or the perfect internship but don’t know where to start? Do you want to impress with professional application documents but aren’t sure how to stand out from the crowd? Do you have specific questions about the application process in Germany or your application documents and wish to consult an expert?

Then you’ve come to the right place! Julia Barden (www.juliabarden.com), a psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of companies like Deutsche Bahn and Commerzbank, supports individuals in both career orientation and the entire application process. She is the author of books and Udemy courses focused on the German job market.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

Job search strategies

In line with the workshop’s design, theory is immediately followed by practice: you will choose a job that interests you and analyze the job advertisement based on the instructions provided. After covering how to determine a realistic salary expectation and approach salary negotiations strategically, you’ll define your salary expectation for the chosen position. There will also be time to address your individual questions.
